This shot, taken early on a frosty mid January morning, shows the large steels in the background that will form the roof. These should be going up imminently. Bad weather has slowed build down over the last few weeks, but fingers crossed, now the better weather is on its way, they can make up for lost time. Works are about to start on the field behind the tennis courts – this is to level off the bund at the edge, drag it into the field, flatten the field out and then re-seed it. The first major event on this field will be SnittLife 2024! This means that the field has now become a part of the construction site so access is no longer possible until the opening of the building.
