Just in time for the April showers, we have a roof!! (note, this image shows a partial roof, the whole roof is now on). Needless to say, the new Sports Club building will fly now (she says with her fingers and toes firmly crossed!). The windows are due to go in over the next couple of weeks so we will be truly watertight – very exciting!
The drainage part of the project is going well, the image shows the huge amount of works that have gone on behind the bowling green. All bramble hedges that have had to be removed will be replaced with hedge and fence. You can also clearly see the shape of the car park and the field is now flat and being prepared for Snitt Life – on the bright side, all this rain should do the grass seeds good! Hopefully we will see this looking more green than brown very soon.
